Pureheat’s Turbine air extraction insect trap from Mo-el in Italy provides the ultimate mechanical solution for control of annoying, biting pests in large scale commercial and agricultural applications. Using a capture bag, insects are attracted to the high-output UV-A lamps, drawn in by the fan suction and then held in the trap bag from which they cannot escape. The insect eventually dies of dehydration from the continual airflow – there are no smelly odours and no chemicals. When full, the capture bag is simply removed, emptied and re-attached to the Turbine.
The IPx4 splash-proof rating of Turbine allows the unit to be used in exterior use on farms, food production centres and commercial outdoor hospitality areas.
The Turbine capture bag complies with HACCP monitoring requirements.
